Best Swimsuits for Comfort and Style on your next Vacation

Beach Vacations always spark that NEED to buy brand new swimsuits!! Not to mention a desire to do last minute diets to slim down and fit into those teeny tiny bikinis! 😉As someone who has been on MANY beach vacays, I have learned that comfort, plus the ability to snorkel or swim on a whim doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style! I'm giving you my top recommendations for the best swimsuits that provide support, both up top and through the mid section, as well as confidence that will allow you to feel comfy as well as fabulous for those sunny days.

My Best Swimsuits

We always try to buy for fashion, but end up wearing comfort. So take the time and pick out some that are BOTH. I love the brand “Pour Moi” because as a naturally bustier gal, who is now 42 years old, I need support up top. Let’s be real. I have to have an underwire or a boob lift at this point in life, so why fight it! 🤣 I love the two-piece as well as their one-piece options because you can buy them according to your cup size!

I also love to have a long sleeve/rash guard style suit. I just wear a normal swim top or white sports bra underneath for support, but this is an easy suit for snorkeling, to throw shorts on over to walk around and offers protection on sunny days. There are lots of great options on Amazon, but this one in comfortable, great zipper and has lasted a few years!

Vetchy Brand

This brand has lots of unique finds and great support up top. Two piece bottoms do not cut into the skin so it fits very well! (Pic 2 and 3 above!)

OneOne Swimwear

I found the brand OneOne Swim and really like the fit and comfort of their tops as well as options for the bottom including thongs! We hit up Europe twice and with those styles so "when in Rome!" (or the Caribbean) 😉

Marshall's Finds (Michael Kors and Tommy Bahama)

I live in Dallas and we have a few Marshall's locations near my house, so I've gotten pretty luck this year in finding some designer swimsuits for a VERY low price - woohoo! I'd encourage you to always check the swimwear and activewear when in Marshall's, TJ Maxx or other discount stores as there may some great options that have been overlooked. The first two in the the gallery below are Michael Kors and the last is Tommy Bahama.

#TravelMore Tip:

I always look for supportive one-pieces that I can pair with some denim shorts for a cruise shore day or a beach day where we will be in and out of the water.

Kenny Flowers

Kenny's is a fun brand that is great for couple, family, and friend / group matching bathing suits! They have so many fun patterns that are named after Kenny and #JetSetChristina 's favorite vacation spots. Will and I went with the lemons. 🍋

Victoria's Secret

You can't go wrong with a supportive, bra-size option from Victoria's Secret. I loved this burnt orange-ish, earthy shade as something different this year. The bottoms do have rhinestones as I have to have some sparkle.

Venus

I LOVE this fun, belted, sparkly suit from Venus! They tend to cater towards "older" women... I guess I qualify now. But, they have tons of great options for swimwear for all ages of women, IMO. Great pricing too!

I have them in every color and 5 black, lol. I usually pack around 3 pairs for travel as they are great for those flight days, as well as working out during the trip or for active excursions! (Just look for pictures...if i have on yoga pants...they are "Hey nuts.")

Travel Hat:

Obviously I have on my same travel hat in most of these photos! I got it at Dillard's years ago and have yet to find an exact replacement. Get one that you love, but that can take some wear and tear. Mine has been completely soaked, bent, folded into bags, and it's still hanging on. ♥️
