Mornings on Virgin Voyages are anything but ordinary. No crowded buffets, no lukewarm coffee, and no sad powdered eggs. Instead, you’ll find made-to-order meals, fresh espresso drinks, and the freedom to brunch your way—whether that’s a quick croissant before an excursion or a mimosa-filled hangover cure overlooking the wake.

As your Gold-Tier First Mate, I’m here to spill the beans (and pour the coffee) on how Virgin Voyages does breakfast differently.

ā˜•Coffee, Please: Your morning must-haves

Start your day at The Grounds ClubĀ for proper espresso drinks (including matcha, chai, and spiked options). If you’re heading off ship early, grab-and-go pastries and fruitĀ are easy to snag at The Galley or Gym & Tonic’s smoothie station. Don’t sleep on the Nutella brioche or Greek yogurt bento boxes either!

šŸ„“ Classic Breakfast on Virgin Voyages at The Galley

Diner & Dash inside The Galley has you covered 24/7 with diner-style classics like:

  • Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage (yes, vegan too)

  • Buttermilk pancakes with berries

  • Hashbrowns, omelets, and sweet potato tots

  • French toast burgers (because… Virgin)

It's nostalgic but better. Plus, you can sit anywhere, order from a server, and enjoy views of the sea while your breakfast is made fresh to order.

🌮 Build-Your-Own Breakfast Tacos

Texans, this one’s for you. Virgin may notĀ have a dedicated breakfast taco stand—but that didn’t stop me:

  1. Grab your fillingsĀ at Diner & Dash (scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage)

  2. Get tortillas and cheeseĀ from Let’s Taco Bout It

  3. Add cheese, hot sauce, and extrasĀ from Bento Baby

VoilĆ : DIY tacos, Virgin Voyages style. Add this to your list of travel hacks I’m proud ofĀ šŸ™ŒšŸŒ®

šŸ³ Brunch Vibes at The Wake + Razzle Dazzle

For a true brunch experience, head to The WakeĀ or Razzle Dazzle. You’ll need to book these in advance, ideally pre-boarding during your booking window.

  • The Wake: Steak & eggs, eggs benedict, Bloody Marys with a view

  • Razzle Dazzle: Vegan-friendly with a cheeky twist (rainbow churros, avocado toast, plant-based everything)

Bonus: You can upgrade to a bottomless brunchĀ (yes, mimosas included).

šŸ›Žļø Ship Eats = Room Service Breakfast

If you’re not a morning person (hi, me after Scarlet Night), you can pre-order breakfast the night before to your cabinĀ using the Ship Eats system via the app.

Expect items like:

  • Nutella French toast

  • Scrambled eggs + bacon

  • Fruit, pastries, and hot coffee

Heads up: There’s a $5 delivery fee unless you’re a Rockstar or Mega Rockstar, in which case it’s included.

✨ Tips for Breakfast Like a Pro

  • šŸ“² Book brunch at The Wake/Razzle Dazzle in your app early

  • 🧃 Try something unexpected: ramen for breakfast? Yes please.

  • ā° No time? Grab pastries and coffee to go from The Galley

  • 🧳Can I eat breakfast on disembarkation day? YES - Everyone must be off the ship by 10 AM typically, so a limited breakfast option in The Galley is available!
